27-year-old girl wrote a letter and the day died from cancer

Death is that sooner or later awaits each of us. No matter whether it’s the death of a close relative or your own struggle for life — in any case, to look death in the face is never easy.

Fortunately, most people start to think about death only when you are old, but some have to face this at a much younger age. Holly butcher was one of those people.

Holly began to think about death once in the 26 years she was diagnosed with cancer.

Before you leave our world forever, she decided to write a farewell letter, which was posted on his page in Facebook on 3 January 2018.

Less than 24 hours after the letter was published, Holly passed away surrounded by members of his family.

Now her message around the world, touching the hearts of a huge number of people.

She starts her letter so:

“It is strange to realize and accept his death at the age of 26. Usually we simply do not think about it. Days pass, and you think that it will always be. Until then, until one day the unexpected will happen. I always imagined myself as old, gray and covered with wrinkles, devoting himself to a large family (where a lot of kids) that I was planning to build with your loved one. I wanted it so badly that now it causes me unbearable emotional pain.”

“But, that’s life: it is fragile, precious and unpredictable, and every day is a gift, not a given.

To me now 27 years. I don’t want to leave this world. I love my life. I’m happy. I owe this to your loved ones. But I can’t control life.

I wrote this post, “before I die”, not because I’m afraid of death. I like the fact that we are mostly not aware of its inevitability. Except me, who decided to share their thoughts. About this topic is not to say, it is a taboo, as if with us it will never happen… So I can’t so easily it is given.

I just want people to finally stop worrying about small meaningless things in your life and remember that in the end all we are waiting for only one event. So do your best to live your life well and with dignity, not paying attention to all the small stuff.

In my post I share different thoughts, because for the last few months I have had a lot of time to think over your life. Of course, most often such thoughts come to my mind in the middle of the night!

In those moments when you complain about all sorts of stuff (and in recent months I’ve noticed a lot of things like that), just think about who you really are faced with a problem. Thank fate for small troubles and forget about them. And do something annoying, the main thing do not dwell on this and try not to take it out on other people.

Go to the fresh air, deep breath, breathe in that fresh Australian air, look at the blue sky and green trees; it’s so beautiful. Think how lucky you are that you can do is to breathe.

Maybe today you got into a horrible traffic jam, or didn’t sleep, because your wonderful children did not let you sleep, or a hairdresser cut my hair too short. Maybe you broke recently extended nails, you have small Breasts, cellulite on the back seat, or folds on the abdomen.

Forget this nonsense. I swear, you will not think about such things when it’s your turn to go. It’s all so unimportant when you look at life in General. I see my body disappear right in front of me, and nothing can do about it. All I want now is to celebrate one more birthday and Christmas with your family, or spend one more day with a loved one and a dog. Just another.

I’ve heard complaints of people at a terrible job or how hard it is to do in the gym is to be grateful for what is at all capable of physical work. Work and training may seem quite ordinary things… while your body can perform them.

I have always tried to lead a healthy life, probably, it even was my main passion. Value your health and performance, even if your body has not the perfect size for you. Take care of your body and don’t forget about his amazing abilities. Train your body and eat right. But do not dwell on it.

Remember that there are other indicators of good health than the physical shell. Also try to find the source of mental, emotional, and spiritual joy. Thus, you will understand how really insignificant and unimportant imposed by the media image of the ideal body. To do this, delete any account that appears in the feed of your news, which, though a little bit fills you with a sense of insecurity. No matter whether it is the account of your friend or not.. Be ruthless for the sake of their own well-being.

Be grateful for every day when you have nothing hurts. And even on days when you feel bad because of a cold, torn back or a sprained ankle, be thankful it’s not a threat to life and sooner or later will be held.

People, less complain and more help each other!

Give, give and give again. It is true that doing for others more than for yourself, you feel happier. Sorry, I didn’t do it so often.

Since then, as I got sick, I met incredibly generous and kind people, I have heard many sensitive and nice words, have received support from family members, friends, and unfamiliar people; More than I can give in return. I will never forget and will forever be grateful to all these people.

It’s awful when you start to spend all the money you have in the end… when it is dying. This is not the case when you go to the store and buy something tangible, like a new dress. It makes you think about how silly that we spend so much money on new clothes and different things.

Instead of another new dress, new-fangled beauty product or jewelry, it is better to buy your friends something nice.1. Nobody cares if you wear the same thing twice 2. You will like it. Invite friends to the cafe, or better yet, prepare a meal themselves. Give them coffee. Give/buy some plant, certificate for a massage, Yes, even a decorative candle and say you love them when you give your gift.

Learn to appreciate the time another person. If you are late, don’t make them wait. Begin to prepare for the meeting in advance. Appreciate what friends want to share with you my time, and not sit staring at the phone waiting for your boyfriend. This way you will earn their respect! Amen sister.

This year we agreed not to make any gifts. Despite the fact that tree looked pretty sad (on Christmas eve, I have almost completely lost my nerve!), it was so nice that nobody had to run to the shops in search of gifts, and all focused on the writing of original greetings cards to each other. Imagine if my family will look for me a gift, knowing that he ultimately will remain with them… pretty weird, right?! It may sound lame, but the cards mean more to me than spontaneously purchased gifts. Besides, there was no young children, so this decision is all arranged. The moral of my story is that the meaning of Christmas is not in gifts, and in relation to each other. Move on.

Spend money on travel. Or at least don’t delay the trip because you spent all the money on the material, in fact unnecessary, good.

Make an effort to finally make a day trip to the beach, which you kept postponing. Dive into the water, bury in the sand. Moisten your face with salt water.

Relax on the nature.

Just feel the moment and enjoy it, instead of shoot it with the camera of your smartphone.

Life is not to live through the screen, or create a perfect photo… enjoy the beautiful moments, people! Stop catching them for others.

Random rhetorical question. Do those few hours that you spend styling your hair and makeup or endless fees to a night club really worth it? I never understood this about girls.

At least occasionally get up early to listen to the birds and watch the rising sun paints its colors still sleepy town.

Listen to music.. exactly listen. Music is the cure. And the old music better.

Hug your pet. Even when you are away, I’ll miss my dog.

Talk to your friends. Find out whether everything is in order?

Work to live but not live to work.

Seriously, do what makes your heart beat faster.

Eat cake. And no more guilt!

Say “no” to what you don’t want to do.

Do not give in to other people’s opinion on what is considered a full life. You may like the other, boring life, and there is nothing wrong!

Tell your loved that you love them every time can say, and love them with all my heart.

Also, remember, if something makes you unhappy, you have the power to change it — work, personal relationships, whatever it is. Please be brave and change that in my life. You don’t know how much time you have on this earth, so don’t waste it on something that deprives you of the opportunity to be happy. I know it’s often written and said, but in these words the truth.

Anyway, this is just advice from a young girl. Want — listen, and want — no, I don’t mind!

This will help you to save someone’s life, and as a bonus get a good health. I’m sorry that fewer people are willing to act as a donor, given that each blood donation can save 3 lives! This is a huge contribution that can make almost everyone, and the procedure is very simple and painless.

Donated blood (I stopped counting bags, to be honest) gave me the opportunity to live another year, for which I am forever grateful. It allowed me to spend it in our beautiful world, with my family, friends and his beloved dog. This year has given me many unforgettable moments.
